The interconnection queue, not capital, is the binding constraint
In market after market, projects with committed capital and secured land now wait years for a grid interconnection study. That queue, not financing, decides who builds first.

Interconnection queues have lengthened across most of the markets we track as more capacity competes for finite grid headroom, and a project's position in that queue is frequently fixed years before construction begins. Positioning strategy, submitting a complete, technically sound application early and managing the study process actively, has become a distinct and economically significant skill.
We now treat interconnection strategy as part of project readiness from the earliest stage of site origination, because by financial close the position in the queue is usually already locked in.
